More NYC Fun – I attended the first Petcon on Saturday, November 18, 2017. Loved the venue, big, spacious and a short walk from my house. The purpose of this 2-day event was to teach us the ins and outs of Instagram. Promoted by The Dog Agency; they publicized 30 IG stars in attendance and panels to help us IG underachievers upgrade our IG status. Well, I have to say that I didn’t learn much, and here is the gist of it ....yes we have to grow organically, yes the algorithm has changed, yes, we have to comment, like, engage, stay on brand, yes take good pictures. There you have it. Some nice vendors were there and I managed to snag a t-shirt from Bow and Drape, get some freebees from True Leaf Pet, take some pics, meet some famous IG stars and just chat with my friends. Oh, the highlight for me was the lecture on training. Andrea Arden told us how important it is to know tricks, listen to commands, pay attention, etc. I have a long way to go. And, being a senior dog was wondering if I could still learn a trick or two or just go with a #sexysenior mentality. I am a work in progress!!!

Next, you won’t believe this pups but I won or should I say placed in a competition!!! There is hope for your girl. I mean I placed THIRD, I repeat THIRD in the Outrageous Contest at the Washington Square Park Dog Run Harvest/Rescheduled Halloween Parade / Contest. So dreams can come true LOL.
